The challenge to produce cleaner-operating diesel engines that are "Always Performing" becomes greater every year. But it is a challenge from which Navistar does not back down. New clean-air restrictions will continue to phase-in around the world for years to come.

The most significant changes involve reductions in diesel NOx (nitrogen oxides) and particulate matter (soot). These government-mandated reductions are reflected in the table below.
