The Company has two industrial units installed in Mercosur: São Paulo (SP) and Jesús Maria (in Córdoba, Argentina). In addition, it maintains an Engine Creation and Development Center in Brazil, located in São Paulo, responsible for the engine platform developed in the country.

Strategically installed in Mercosur, MWM Diesel Engines aims to serve the region's customers and work as a base for exporting products worldwide. Currently the Company exports to over 45 countries in South America, North America, Central America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

The diesel engine plant in, São Paulo, SP, produces the engines, series 10, 12 and 229, which meet Euro V emission levels as well as vehicular, agricultural, industrial and marine applications. São Paulo unit also counts on the Engine Creation and Development Center, where most of MWM new products are produced.

Navistardiesel of Alabama, LLC - Huntsville Diesel Engine Plant

Huntsville plant in Alabama is the newest Navistar diesel engine unit, and producer of a new generation of clean diesel engines with advanced technology. This engine factory was designed to incorporate modern technologies of machines-tools and of manufacturing techniques for the production of Navistar market leading products. The diesel engines are designed to meet the stringent EPA emission standards, and to exceed customer expectations for performance, reliability, durability and fuel consumption efficiency.
With about 65,000 square meters of production and office space, Huntsville plant produce Navistar N13. This diesel engines offer customers high performance and driveability, exceptional level of silence because of the low levels of noise and vibrations, as well as economy and maintenance facility.
The Hunstville plant is ISO/TS 16949 certified.


Melrose Park Diesel Engine Plant and Technical Center

Melrose Park Engine Plant and Technical Center were originally built in 1941. In 1946, International Harvester, now Navistar International Corporation, acquired the unit for its engine and construction equipment businesses, and began the engineering, manufacturing and assembly of a variety of diesel engines and products for construction equipment. In 1975, Navistar introduced its DT 466 with wet-sleeve system, setting a new standard for mid-range diesel engines with long service life and the possibility of engine overhauling on the chassis. A few years later, Navistar introduced V-8 diesel engine with 6.9 liters used in International brand trucks and in the Ford heavy pickup trucks and vans.
Currently, Melrose Park plant produces Navistar N9 and Navistar N10 in a production area of 140,000 m2. Melrose Park Engine Plant is ISO/TS 16949 certified, and the Technical Center is both ISO 9001 and QS 9000 certified.



Joint Venture Navistar / JAC - Hefei, Anhui Province, China

A joint venture between a Navistar affiliate and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co. Ltd. (JAC) will develop, produce and sell advanced diesel engines and commercial vehicles in China. This engine joint venture will focus on meeting the needs of the emerging Chinese market for commercial trucks by offering diesel engine technology in accordance with Euro IV and Euro V standards. Our newest unit will occupy 17 acres (68,800 m2) and will have 8 manufacturing lines of blocks and heads, in addition to 3 assembly lines for engine line marketed in China. JAC's customers will receive, from this completely new plant, clean air, durable and energy efficient technology to meet the requirements of the Chinese market. This partnership will take advantage of a strong local suppliers' base.
